Read the storage instructions
Different medicines have different storage requirements. Check the packaging and patient leaflet for the temperature and conditions required. Do not assume that every medicine belongs in the refrigerator. Ask a pharmacist if the label is unclear.
Plan the trip home
Avoid leaving medicines in a parked vehicle or direct sunlight. For a product with specific temperature requirements, ask the dispensing team how to transport it safely and what to do if those conditions cannot be maintained.
Keep packaging and instructions
